Life isn’t always ice cream and sunshine in the quaint and picturesque town of Heritage, Massachusetts.
Sundae Afternoon ice cream shop manager, and inquisitive amateur sleuth, Yvette Lockhart, is responsible for dishing up some of the sweetest treats in town. Yvette’s idyllic life gets turned upside down, however, when one of her favorite customers is found dead.
Local police rule out an accidental drowning, and Yvette’s insatiable curiosity gets the best of her. With one of her employees missing, and townspeople, that she thought she knew well, under suspicion for murder, Yvette has her hands full of more than just an ice cream scoop.
Will asking the right questions and trusting her gut be enough to clear the names of the people she holds dear to her heart or will she end up face to face with a killer? Will the daily tasks of running the shop, catering last-minute events, and the need to hire a new employee, distract her from solving the crime before the killer strikes again?
