The Mark Of Pain

The Mark Of pain is a short but vivid tale of Africa in the early twentieth century, centered around the leper colony of Albert Schweitzer, of the the great humanists of his time. Adam Hope is a cynical man, scarred by his experiences in The First World War, who is now trying to eke out a living as a river trader in West Africa. When he meets Dr Schweitzer and plays a major part in saving the colony from an impending disaster, Hope's life is changed forever by the humanity that Schweitzer shows him. The Mark of Pain features some amazing scenes amongst the exotic backdrop of equatorial Africa.
