As work drags her into a dangerous world of blackmail and mysteries (while still feeding cats for absent owners and planning parties), insanity ramps up at home. It’s not until her son lands in the emergency room and she’s fired from a project that Peri realizes she needs a little help from her friends.
Help comes. But it’s not done her way.
As soon as she’s able, Peri’s back at it. Fueled by cookies and coffee, she’s fully charged and ready to re-create order in her universe. But she can only go so far before her need to control gets out of control.
Then it doesn’t take long before an assassin decides the world would be a better place if only Peri would be the next to Show Up Dead.
