"Russia's Biggest Hack" is fiction or is it? It's well known that Russia tried to influence the presidential campaign in 2015-2016. It doesn't take much imagination to think that this was not Russia's first attempt. In reality, the cold war never ended. After the breakup of the Soviet Union, a power struggle brought Vladimir Putin, a former KGB agent, to power. It's been widely reported that Putin believes that the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century was the breakup of the Soviet Union.
The United States and Russia routinely swap captured spies. These exchanges don't make headlines; the announcements are buried on page ten of newspapers.
