Once an Eagle

A story of two soldiers: Sam Damon, who puts duty, honour and the men he commands above self interest; and Courtney Massengale, who advances by making the right connections behind the lines and in Washington's corridors of power. The conflict between the two begins during the Great War and reaches its conclusion in the Vietnam War.
