Nanokill
by Mark Janas
What happens when one guy with the right skills and resources gets sick of the division and discord fueled by politicians, the media, and celebrities? Nanokill happens.
Set in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina, Nanokill explores the transition of Kurt Lauder, an executive who runs a biotech and nanotechnology company on the cusp of “breaking through” in the industry. The nanobots that he and his team have designed have many potential uses in many different industries. While his primary business is advancing, Kurt finds side uses for the technology, including helping law enforcement.
Using the tools of the dark web Kurt does his side work anonymously, seeking no recognition or fanfare. Soon, Kurt sets his sights on bigger objectives. Politicians, both Democrats and Republicans, as well as members of the media who continue to divide Americans must be held accountable.
