Home from college and working for the town paper, Macady Jackson leaves the family store to go horse-riding. She is completely unaware that Deputy Aaron Westerman has been investigating a small airfield in the area that he believes is being used to transport drugs. Aaron, unable to shake the feeling that he is being followed, has hidden in the bush.From a distance, in her jeans and cowboy hat, Macady's lean figure is mistaken for Aaron's. Macady, in turn, is attracted to Aaron, but she has carefully avoided all relationships since her father left her mother for another woman years before. Macady's parents had been married in the temple, but her father and obviously chosen to reject them.
