I’ve never gotten, or needed, anyone’s help in life and I’ve learned that the only person I know I can truly depend on is me. While it can be lonely, there’s a certain element of safety I feel in it. So, being self-reliant is something I have always insisted on from myself.
That is, until the car accident.
Jake’s been amazing at helping put my body back together and he’s truly been a god-send.
He’s also hot, gorgeous and certainly has a way with his hands. Getting to know him has been amazing. But I will never allow him to use me as his latest pet project; I don’t care how sexy he is.

When Amanda came into my office, I thought she was just another patient.
