Come Again
by Poppy Dunne and Poppy Dunne
My brother’s best friend is not the boy next door anymore...
It is a truth universally acknowledged that “not settling” has made me perpetually single.
As a result, I’ve had plenty of time to read self-help books, and a lot of Saturday nights with good wine to keep me company.
Life-coaching my friends was the obvious hobby to result. I can solve every problem other people have, if they’d just let me. But Fraser Drake is proving to be completely unsolvable. For one thing, he seems immune to my charms. For another, his dry British humor is infuriating.
Did I mention he’s my brother’s best friend?
That whole broody, secretive vibe he’s got is ridiculously hot. His closed-off emotions are just begging for a bottle of wine and some good mantras. Secrets from his past? Well, now my pants are practically taking themselves off. And he’s only too willing to distract me with the same.
Turns out falling for Fraser is the biggest problem of all.
