Bet On It
by Elizabeth Perry
The first time that I met Jake Matthews, was the very first time that I set foot in the locker room. That also happened to be the first time that I saw his package, because he looked me dead in the eye, and dropped his towel on the ground.
He was teasing me, taunting me with his eyes. He wanted me to look. He wanted me to see what he was working with.
I fought it.
I swear to you, I tried so hard not to look.
But then, my eyes failed me, because before I could stop it from happening, I was staring at it.
It, being a perfect, thick, long…yeah. I couldn’t pull my eyes away from it. In fact, I may have drooled a little bit. It was impressive, alright?
That was my first mistake, because now, the man won’t leave me alone.
He thinks that he’s God’s gift to women and is just expecting me to fall at his feet. I’m not going to let that happen- hotshot baseball players aren’t my type, anyways. Plus, getting involved with the players is totally against my contract. I can’t exactly afford to get fired, especially when I’ve just landed my dream job.
Jake’s not giving up easily, though. He really wants to show me what he’s working with. He’s definitely way more show, than he is tell.
I’m just going to have to settle for one more little peek. I mean, one peek never hurt anyone, right?
Wrong.
